The Client

Facebook is a popular global social networking service based in California but with a head office in Dublin.

Target Market/Industry

This would be used at graduate fairs and industry related events as a scatter promotional giveaway.

The Brief

The product needed to highlight their ‘’like button’’ which is symbolised by a ‘thumb up’ Icon. This campaign was intended to encourage user engagement. The ‘thumbs up’ gesture is known for its positive symbolism.

Opus Print & Promotions was tasked with coming up with a low-cost giveaway gift that represented their client branding.  The gift needed to be fun, practical, and reusable.

The Challenge

Printed the ‘’Thumb ups’’ icon on a promotional product or producing a die cut shaped fridge magnet is fine, but it does not really engage with the recipient on a personal level. We had to think of what graduates would use, be funky and practical.

The Solution

The Creative team at Opus got to work to see what would work for their budget. To stand out from the crowd we need to be brave and be different.  Our proposal of a bespoke shaped Post it Pad was the perfect giveaway, low cost, fun, practical and different.

The Result

The result was a bespoke quirky thumbs up post it pad. We can tailor make these in any shape, but this simple design and shape says it all so very subtlety. Each pad has 50 sheets which mean their logo has the potential to be distributed to 50 different locations. WOW… The power of one Post it pad.
